For additional information, visit our company homepage Overview and Responsibilities Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Payer Portal Specialist to join our team. In this position, you are responsible for obtaining and maintaining administrative access for all assigned insurance payer portals. Conducts calls with insurance payers and their portal teams to obtain administrative access and work through questions and issues on the process for granting user access to Rotech employees Maintains shared files for each payer with portal access details and documents Meet a monthly production and quality standard Obtains and maintains Rotech's administrative portal access for all assigned insurance payers Organize workload to process Payer Portal Request tickets quickly and efficiently Provides portal customer service to Rotech employees who are in need of portal access where an administrator is required Remove terminated employees' portal access as necessary per payer portal requirements Updates Quick Reference Guides (QRG's) as well as Skylark and eIntake computer systems with pertinent portal access information Work with Payer Portal Team Lead to keep Payer Portal Service Desk Plus tickets current to within 30 days Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications Employment is contingent on Background investigation (company-wide) Drug screen (when applicable for the position) Valid driver's license in state of residence with a clean driving record (when applicable for the position) Required Education and/or Experience High school diploma or GED equivalent, required Preferred Education and/or Experience Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of college education and/or related work experience in healthcare, billing, and/or industry contracts, preferred Paralegal Certificate, preferred One year of related work experience, preferred Skills and Competencies Effectively communicate in English; both oral and written Interpret a variety of communications (verbal, non-verbal, written, listening and visual) Knowledge of Industry Contracts and medical billing Maintain confidentiality, discretion and caution when handling sensitive information Multi-task along with attention to detail Self-motivation, organized, time-management and deductive problem solving skills Work independently and as part of a team Machines, Equipment and Technical Abilities Email transmission and communication Internet navigation and research Microsoft applications; Outlook, Word and Excel Innovative Medical Billing System (IMBS) preferred Office equipment; fax machine, copier, printer, phone and computer and/or tablet Physical Demands Lift and carry office equipment at times Regularly review documents with small print Requires close vision to small print on computer and/or tablet and paperwork Requires sitting, walking, standing, talking and listening Utilize computer for long periods of time Walk, sit, talk, and listen for extended periods of time Rotech Information Benefits 401k Medical, Dental and Vision Life Insurance and Disability Generous Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays Employee Discount Program Employee Recognition Program Bonus and Incentive Opportunities Mileage reimbursement (when applicable for the position) Telephone reimbursement (when applicable for the position) Make the Right Move and Submit your Resume Today!
