Description SAIC is seeking a Systems Engineer with expertise in Analysis & Modeling to provide support to the NRO GEOINT Chief Architect (GCA). This role involves providing technical and programmatic assistance to Government team members regarding spacecraft and payload activities throughout the Satellite development life cycle. Qualified candidates must possess an active TS/SCI security clearance with CI Polygraph. Key duties/responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Systems engineering support for external, program office, and developer-sponsored forums Performing system level analyses for Government review and consideration Supporting acquisition planning, solicitation, and evaluation, and selection award activities Assisting in requirements development and design trade studies Assessment and management of space vehicle design studies and Major System Acquisitions (MSAs) Modeling & Simulation Support through coordinating development and analyzing results in the areas of Mission design, Spacecraft & Payload operations Qualifications BS in Engineering, Physics, or similar technical discipline 8 years of System Engineering experience on complex space systems Experience assessing models, simulations and analyses of Electro-Optical, Radar, or Communications satellite systems and related ground systems Experience participating in federal contracting for systems and services Strong expertise in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Desired Qualifications: MS in Engineering, Physics, or similar technical discipline 12 years of System Engineering experience on complex space systems Experience organizing and executing modeling, simulation and analysis studies of Electro-Optical, Radar, and Communications satellite systems and related ground systems Proficiency with various M&S Tools Experience organizing and executing NRO acquisition processes Proficiency representing complex data in high level in Microsoft PowerPoint presentations tailored to specific audiences
