We build industry-led, student-centered, modern youth apprenticeships through classroom and on-the-job learning providing flexible, alternative pathways to economic mobility. We have hundreds of CareerWise apprentices in the workplace, charting new paths to academic and career success. In addition, workforce and education leaders from across the country have visited CareerWise to learn about our youth apprenticeship model. As a result, our programs have launched in multiple states, leveraging our institutional knowledge, technology, and infrastructure. Job Summary Reporting to the Director of Technology, the Product Owner will work closely with functional leaders, organizational units, and subject matter experts to identify, develop, and deploy new business processes through the use of technology. The person in this role will serve as a tech project manager and will develop training curriculum for end users. What You'll Be Doing: TECH PROJECT MANAGER | You will help increase the overall adoption of CW tech platforms by thoughtfully planning product launches, creating informative emails, and hosting meetings. You will also maintain a detailed database of products with a firm understanding of the customers and their utilization. You will manage the product backlog while working with end users to ensure work items are refined and prioritized. PRODUCT TRAINING | You will be responsible for the development and distribution of training materials and reference guides that support adoption of the CW product suite. DETECTIVE | You will review assigned tech tickets carefully and determine the next steps or offer resolution within a specified timeframe. You will ask questions and explain technical terms using non-technical language, and you will troubleshoot computer or other technical issues with staff and external partners. You must be willing to be inquisitive and have patience as you might be communicating with non-technical stakeholders. LIAISON | You will serve as a liaison between the tech department and end users, continually keeping all stakeholders involved throughout the product development lifecycle. INNOVATION | You will explore, research, and propose product features that will help CW adopt a data-focused mindset May perform other duties as assigned. Key competencies to be successful in this role: Experience with and solid understanding of Salesforce. Salesforce Associate certification is required AI Associate Certification is required In Salesforce, build custom apps/objects, dashboards/reports, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of beginning complexity Ability to determine priority tasks and manage other requests according to priority order Excellent communication skills in person and online; ability to distill technical concepts and effectively explain/share information with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Demonstrates a commitment to the principles of DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) Lives out the CareerWise values and has a passion for the CareerWise mission and vision Additional proficiencies: 2+ years of technical project management experience as a product owner, scrum master, or PMP certification is a plus 1+ years of experience with Agile methodologies and with release planning and strategy Understanding of market analysis/strategy, Excel, change sets, and sandboxes Design, implementation, and user adoption experience Analytical and creative thinker Experience using Google Suite and project management software (like Jira, Lucid, etc.) Comfort with change and ambiguity Experience and interest in working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment Ability to understand and interpret the multiple complexities of the evolving youth apprenticeship movement The above statements are intended to describe the essential functions of the job being performed by employees assigned to this classification. There will be occasions (possibly 2-4 times per year) for staff to come to Denver for in-person meetings and/or training. Exceptions will be made for special circumstances. Compensation: The starting salary range for this role is: $79,567 (min) - $106,090 (max) annually; this role is exempt from overtime and the minimum wage provisions of the FLSA.
