D3 Search is actively recruiting an IP Docketing Specialist for a well-established, highly respected & growing AMLAW ranked law practice located in San Francisco, CA (94111).Position Title:IP Docketing SpecialistLocation | Map:San Francisco, CA (94111)Employment Status:Full-time | direct hire employment opportunity. Non-exempt role (OT in accordance w CA laws).Employer Work Model:Hybrid work model (32).Summary:A global AMLAW ranked law practice is seeking an IP Docketing Specialist that is experienced in U.S. and Foreign trademark prosecution docketing.The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in U.S. and Foreign trademark prosecution docketing experience.The IP Docketing Specialist will be responsible for maintaining deadlines and accurate data in the docketing database on client matters pertaining to trademark prosecution. This position will also be responsible for maintaining electronic files in the IP document management system. This position will report directly to the Director of IP Administration and will work closely with the IP attorneys and staff.Primary Responsibilities and Expectations:Review all incoming client mail (including U.S. Mail, e-mail, courier packages, faxes) for the IP group that relates to trademark matters to determine due dates or reminder dates that need to be entered into Firm's computerized docketing database.Process and forward information regarding each date entered into the docketing database to the appropriate individuals.Enter all due dates, reminder dates and annotate all entries, as appropriate, into the docketing database.Save appropriate communications in the IP document management system.Review USPTO filing acknowledgement receipts and outgoing Client and Foreign Associate correspondence and update docketing database accordingly by closingadding appropriate comments and docket dates.Prepare reports for attorneys and staff, as neededFollow up on daily dockets to ensure that they have satisfied all the day's due dates; inform Director of IP Administration and ResponsibleBilling attorney if any have not yet been satisfied by close of business each dayUpdate all information in docketing database on a daily basis as indicated by attorneysstaff or as indicated from clientforeign associate correspondenceAssist other docket specialists in double-checking to ensure all dates docketed by that specialist are accurateEssential Functions of Job:Full knowledge of U.S. and Foreign trademark prosecution lifecycle processMaintaining accurate data in the docketing database in a high volume, fast paced practice while timely identifying and prioritizing time sensitive mattersMaintaining electronic files in IP document management systemFollow the Firm's best practices and protocols regarding IP docketing on a daily basisClear and transparent communication with the attorneys, staff and Director of IP Administration regarding all matters related to docketingQualifications and Experience:Minimum of 3 years of comprehensive U.S. and Foreign trademark prosecution docketing experienceThorough knowledge of procedures and practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark OfficeAbility to work independently and as part of a teamHigh degree of accuracy and attention to detailRegular, predictable, and timely attendanceStrong critical thinking skills and ability to troubleshootClear and concise communication skillsKnowledge of TTAB rulesAdditional experience with U.S. and Foreign patent prosecution docketingEducation:High School DiplomaComputerSoftware Knowledge:Knowledge of and experience with any docketing software (i.e. CPI, Inprotech, Foundation IP, IP Manager)Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookKnowledge of and experience with resources such as TDSR, WIPO Madrid System, and other International IP law databases.Annual SalaryCompensation:Salary is up to 107K (DOEDOQ).Benefits Summary:Comprehensive & robust health benefits package, generous PTO, 401K, paid parking onsite, continuing education contributions and many other employee-centered perks, etc. Highly collaborative, collegial and supportive work environment.If interested in this full-timedirect hire IP Docketing Specialist role with this highly respected and growing AMLAW ranked law practice situated in San Francisco, CA (94111), and you meet the above qualificationsrequirements, please contact the following D3 rep.:Don Moser | D3 Search📬 | â˜Žï¸ 213-785-2485📌 Legal Search, LLC (aka D3 Search), and its clients are equal opportunity employers.
