Essential Functions Lead the transformation of finance processes and systems to drive process improvements and operational efficiencies, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulations. Collaborate with multiple departments and stakeholders to lead corporate finance projects, implementing best practices and addressing unique accounting issues. Recommend, plan, and directly manage finance projects, ensuring timely delivery of results. Implement new processes, systems, and technologies to streamline operations and improve data integrity, providing training and support to finance staff. Identify and mitigate risks associated with transformation projects, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the finance department. Manage unclaimed property and related filing, reviewing internal process documents for accuracy and compliance with accounting policy. Actively involved in month-end close activities and general ledger reconciliation, adhering to GAAP and IFRS. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field. Minimum five (5) years' experience in corporate finance, preferably in the hospitality, food service/food and beverage, or airport industry. Technical proficiency in GAAP and IFRS; SAP experience preferred. Certified Public Accountant license or active candidacy preferred. Project management skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to travel within the US and Canada as needed. Eligibility to work in the United States and pass required background checks.
