Salary: $40.00 - $50.00/hr + Depending on Experience Full Job Description Frank Semeraro Construction Co., Inc. is seeking a skilled and experienced Site & Utility Foreman to lead our construction team in the installation and maintenance of underground piping systems, including sanitary sewers, water lines, and drainage systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of utility construction and mass earthwork, with the ability to work safely in and around excavations on busy job sites. This position requires physical strength and endurance, including lifting, climbing, bending, and walking in various weather conditions. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Compliance and Safety: Adhere to all operations and maintenance guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment for all crew members. Installation and Maintenance: Perform installation and maintenance on various underground piping systems, specifically sanitary sewer, water lines, and drainage systems. Site Operations: Safely manage job sites, operating under busy and sometimes stressful conditions while maintaining a high level of safety and efficiency. Heavy Equipment Operations: Perform tasks related to site development and operate heavy equipment as assigned or directed by the supervisor. Blueprint Reading and Layout: Read and interpret blueprints accurately and be responsible for site layout. Hazard Recognition: Recognize site hazards and maintain a clear understanding of trench safety and other safety protocols. Project Coordination : Schedule and meet project deadlines, coordinating effectively with management, crew, owners, and suppliers. The ideal candidate should possess: 5+ years of proven experience in the installation of sewer, water, and storm drainage systems. Ability to read blueprints and manage site layout efficiently. Familiarity with recognizing site hazards and a clear understanding of trench safety. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions. High degree of detail orientation with the ability to schedule and meet project deadlines. Strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively with management, crew, owner, and suppliers. Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus! Willingness to submit to and ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen. Must be a U.S. citizen or have the ability to provide documentation proving U.S. citizenship. Physically capable of performing the demands of the job, including lifting, climbing, bending, and walking.
