The Early Learning Coalition of Palm Beach County is looking for a Reimbursement Specialist to join our team! S UMMARY: The Reimbursement Specialist is responsible for processing provider payments, including any reporting requirements for the assigned program. This process includes the processing of monthly attendance for payment, timely response to related requests and to provide technical support for childcare providers. As well as conduct post attendance monitoring. HOURS: This position is designated as Telecommute . This is a full-time position, and business hours at the Boynton location is Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Longer hours, evenings, and weekends may be necessary on occasion. PAY RATE: up to $19.36 per hour commensurate with experience. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Enters and updates provider information into the ELCBC's payment system according to funding and state guidelines. Responsible for the timely processing of provider attendance in the Single Statewide Information System (SSIS) to facilitate provider payment. Review provider attendance rosters for completeness and anomalies, in accordance with agency policy, and federal, state, and local business rules. Verifies documentation as per Coalition attendance policies, such as absences. Prepare and distribute provider reports and correspondence regarding reimbursement activities. Research, review, document, prepare, and process prior period adjustments to provider issued payments. Conducts post audit attendance monitoring in accordance with established policies and procedures and prepares reports of monitoring results. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from an accredited four-year College or university in a related degree or experience where 2 years of relevant work experience is equivalent to one year of college. Two to five years related experience and/or training. Experience with high volume accurate data entry. Experience using and explaining of online systems and compliance/file audit/review is a plus.
