Company: Hedge FundPosition: ExecutivePersonal Assistant to High-Level ExecutiveLocation: Midtown NYC (Hybrid Schedule 4:1)Hours: 8:00am - 6:00pm with flexibilityconnectivity to support outside of the hours as neededSalary: $140-180K DOE with Benefits + Bonus EligibilityOur client, a Midtown-based hedge fund, seeks an Executive Assistant to support a high-level executive. The ideal candidate must be a creative problem-solver and enjoy working within an entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment. The ideal individual will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a diversity of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities.Responsibilities of the ExecutivePersonal Assistant:Manage Executive's complex calendar of meetings and events, resolving any scheduling issuesManage sensitive matters with a high level of confidentialityArrange international and domestic travel and accommodations for the ExecutiveWelcome the Executive's guests by greeting them, in person or on the phone; answering or directing inquiriesAbility to function well in a high-paced environment; performs additional duties as assigned by executivesDraft and prepare correspondence for internal announcements, board meetings, and organizations that the Executive is involved withPrepare expense reports on a regular basisManage ad-hoc requests answering the Executive's questions and providing needed informationTake detailed messages from callers, forward to team as neededPrepare any printed materials in advance of meetingAssist with personal assistant work as neededAssist in ad hoc projectsRequirements of the ExecutivePersonal Assistant:A Bachelor's degree highly preferred8-10 years of relevant experience required in a highly visible support roleAdvanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skillsAbility to communicate effectively and professionally both written and verballyFlexible hours as dictated by the needs of business for projects and meetingsAbility to work independently and as a team member, while also interacting with all levels of managementExemplary time management skills and the ability to identify and anticipate the Executive's needsUse discretion, confidentiality, and good judgment to handle all mattersRepresent the company and the Executive in a positive light through great follow-through skills and sound judgmentVerification of identity, education, prior employment, and references may be required*The salary range posted for this New York City-based position is a good faith estimate.
