Linux Systems Administrator Job in Rochester, Buffalo or Syracuse, New York:6 month contract with potential extensionPlease no 3rd party or c2c candidatesPay Rate Range: $40-50.00 per hour based on experience The Linux Systems Administrator will be responsible for on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure services, including virtual infrastructure, operating systems, storage, maintenance and security patching, backup and disaster recovery preparedness, and performance monitoring. This Linux Systems Administrator will also develop scripts required to allow for the quick and seamless delivery of solutions within both cloud and on premise solutions. Design, setup and maintenance of a continuous infrastructure integration stack, including source control, build servers, automated testing, automated monitoring and solution deployment will be required.
