Come join the Quicken team!Job Summary:We're looking for a Software Quality Assurance Engineer to assure our Simplifi web and mobile products and services quality by working with Product, Development, and other members of the QA team.Responsibilities:As a team member, engage in both formal meetings and informal conversations with colleagues to gain a thorough understanding of the product's functionality and overarching purpose. Utilize these insights to develop comprehensive test documentation and strategy.Use documentation and networking tools to determine whether bugs are caused by the server or client.Identify and document clear steps to reproduce bugs and work with the team to prioritize test cases.Collaborate closely with Developers, Product Managers, and QA team to clarify inconsistencies between specifications, test cases, and product behavior.Make recommendations to improve product reliability, performance, and quality assurance best practices and processes.Expand and improve automation scripts created in Maestro and Cypress vestigate, troubleshoot, and enter reproducible application issues into vestigate and evaluate new testing technologies and products for web and mobile applications.Qualifications:3+ years professional experience of web andor mobile testing for a consumer-facing productAPI expertise (REST) on how the client communicates tofrom serversExperience maintaining and updating test planstest suites in a very fast paced feature changing environmentAbility to think outside of the box and beyond the obvious to uncover behind-the-scenes type bugsExperience with at least 2 of the following: Javascript, Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Java, and JenkinsAct as a strong advocate for quality in the product development processExperience with defect tracking software (Jira)Ability to triage problems, prioritize accordingly, and propose a resolutionExcellent verbal and written communication skillsIndependent, self-starter, self-directed and self-motivated individual who takes complete ownership of the product and its outcomeBSMS in computer science or equivalent work experienceQuicken is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
