Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and optimization of power and signal distribution systems, ensuring efficient and reliable delivery across a wide range of industrial equipment including Rubber Tired Gantry Cranes, Industrial Carry Deck Cranes and Industrial Forklifts. Oversee the development and integration of electrical distribution systems, including wiring harnesses, control panels, and signal pathways, with an emphasis on performance and safety. Mentor junior engineers within the Power and Signal Distribution group, providing technical leadership and reviewing designs to ensure compliance with industry standards. Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate power and signal distribution into new product development projects, aligning with mechanical and software systems. Conduct simulations and testing to validate power and signal distribution designs, optimizing for both efficiency and performance. Ensure all designs comply with applicable industry standards, such as NEC, NFPA 70E, and UL 508A, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. Collaborate on troubleshooting and root cause analysis for issues related to power distribution and signal integrity, driving continuous improvement efforts. Stay updated on new technologies and advancements in power and signal distribution, applying innovative solutions to current and future projects. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on power and signal distribution systems. Expertise in designing and integrating wiring harnesses, control panels, and signal distribution networks. Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical and other design software tools; experience with Inventor is a plus. Strong understanding of electrical codes and standards such as NEC, NFPA 70E, and UL 508A. Proven experience in mentoring junior engineers and leading cross-functional projects. Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on power systems and signal integrity. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment. A continuous learning mindset with a passion for staying updated on industry trends and innovations.
