Req Number 140198 FlexStaff is seeking an Advanced Practice Nurse/Nurse Practitioner to work for one of our external clients, an addiction treatment center, located in Norfolk, CT. This is a permanent, full-time job. 40 hours per week. 4-10's or 5-8's. 8:00am - 4:30pm. We are really in need of people in interested with helping on weekends. One of possible schedules: Saturday-Tuesday (4-10's). In this role you will be conducting an initial history and physical examination, ordering and evaluating necessary lab tests, prescribing medications, and making referrals as needed. The individual will assess and monitor the client's physical condition and response to medications throughout the detoxification and residential phases. Qualifications: Master's Degree in Nursing or related field Current APRN licensure in the state of Connecticut Current RN licensure in the state of Connecticut Salary is prorated. Level I (1 years' experience) $105,000-120,000 Level II (2+ years' experience) $115,000-135,000 Level III (3+years' experience) $130,000-150,000 Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Conduct physical exams, review medical histories, and identify medical issues for detox stays Ensure clients are at the appropriate level of care for medically-monitored detox Order diagnostic tests (labs, x-rays) as needed Prescribe and adjust medications in detox and residential settings under the medical director's supervision Refer clients to hospitals or specialists when necessary Monitor withdrawal symptoms and manage health needs Review lab results and follow up on abnormal values Participate in treatment planning and identify care needs during detox and post-discharge Complete paperwork, maintain health records, and provide health education to clients and staff Address day-to-day health concerns in both detox and residential care settings *Additional Salary Detail The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
