We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to add to our growing office. We are looking to add a Water Resources Engineer with a background in stream restoration, wetland design, stormwater management, H&H modeling, and construction document production. Responsibilities: Design work for stormwater management, BMPs, open channels, culverts, erosion and sediment control, and low impact development. Perform hydrologic, hydraulic, and water quality analysis and modeling using a variety of software. Perform technical calculations and make recommendations on erosion, drainage, flooding, etc. Conduct watershed and water quality assessments and other aspects of watershed planning. Prepare specifications and construction cost estimates in support of civil and stormwater projects or watershed studies, stormwater masterplans, flood studies, capital improvement projects, etc. Participate in field work, site visits, and data collection as needed. Prepare permit applications and obtain permit approvals from local and state agencies. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in civil engineering, preferably water resources engineering. EIT highly preferred, PE license a plus. Non-licensed candidates will be considered for other roles. Experience using hydraulic and hydrologic modeling software including HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM, etc. Experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microstation, OpenRoads, andor ArcGIS preferred.
