Enterprise Data Architect - Technical roleDirect Hire with all Benefits!Client is located in Ann Arbor, MI ( well renowned Multi-billion dollar E-commerce retail client )All Visa holders welcomeStart Jan'2025 Position Requirements:Experience with multiple full life-cycle data warehouse transformation implementations in public cloudProven experience working as an Enterprise Data Architect or a similar role, preferably in large-scale organizations.Experience designing and implementing with DatabricksDeep technical knowledge of 1 public cloud services ( Azure Preferred)Experience with Data warehouse architecture and ETL integration (SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata and Talend)Deep understanding of data architectures that utilize Data Lakehouse Data MeshBusiness & financial acumen to advise on product planning, conducts research & analysis and identifying business value of new and emerging technologies.Strong SQL and database skills working with large structured and unstructured dataStrong familiarity with enterprise reporting solutions (PowerBI, Qlik, Tableau), data virtualization and semantic modelingExpertise with solution development using No-SQL data platformsSystem development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile Development, DevSecOps, and common software development tools such as Git and JiraExcellent written and oral communication skills to convey key choices, recommendations, and technology concepts to technical and non-technical frastructure as Code (IaC) technologies such as Azure Resource Manager (ARM) or TerraformFamiliarity with Docker, and docker orchestration like Docker Compose or KubernetesFamiliarity with AIMLOps concepts and Marketing technology (Good to have)Job DetailsThis Senior Technical Data Architect role will provide thought leadership for how we use data across the company. As a key contributor to the Data Transformation initiative, the Data architect would work with Business Technology teams to identify and chart the technology and strategy roadmap to unlock value from enterprise data assets. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in large scale modern data warehouse development and had success leading cross-team technical discussions that drive key decisions, operational efficiency and build competitive advantage. The architect would partner with DigitalAIML Architects and teams to define data activation frameworks.GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop and execute the enterprise data strategy, in alignment with business objectives and requirements, to ensure effective data management and governance across the organization.Architect and design data solutions that integrate customer data, marketing data, and streaming data, enabling advanced analytics, real-time insights, and personalized customer experiences.Design and implement a scalable data lakehouse using Databricks, enabling efficient data storage, processing, and analytics across structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data sources.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, data scientists, data engineers, and IT teams, to define data requirements, identify opportunities, and deliver high-quality data solutions.Participate in the definition of future data management architecture, with alignment to value creation opportunities across the business.Performing proof of concepts, object-oriented analysisdesign, assessing new technologies, identifying data lineage, and performing complex data analysis and analyticsCommunicate the companywide Architecture strategy and direction to both management and development teamsStay current with new and emerging technologies and make recommendations on their adoption.Understand compliance and risk management requirements for supported areasPartner with architects across Data Science and Digital organizations to create data activation frameworks supporting realtime (or near realtime) needs.
