Position OverviewA Controls Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining control systems for various industrial processes. They work closely with project managers, electrical engineers, and technicians to ensure the smooth operation of automation systems. The ideal candidate will have experience with Controls, Siemens, PLC, Microsoft, EPlan, and AutoCAD, as well as the ability to program, integrate, and troubleshoot various control systems.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and implement control systems for industrial processesCollaborate with project managers, electrical engineers, and technicians to ensure project requirements are metProgram and integrate various control systems, including PLCs, VFDs, servo drives, and KUKA robotsCreate and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and programming logicPerform troubleshooting and maintenance of control systems to ensure optimal performanceStay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in control systems technologyProvide technical support and training to other team members and end-usersCollaborate with other departments, such as manufacturing and IT, to integrate control systems with other systems, such as MES and SQL databasesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience as a Controls Engineer working with Siemens PLCsStrong knowledge of Controls, Siemens, PLCs, Microsoft, Eplan, and AutoCADExperience with Automation, Electrical, PowerPoint, and Outlook is a plusProficiency in programming and troubleshooting control systemsExperience with integration of control systems with other systems, such as MES and SQL databasesFamiliarity with VFDs, servo drives, and KUKA robotsA strong understanding of electrical and control system principlesExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environmentBenefitsCompetitive compensation (wannual increase)Annual bonusfull health insurance benefits (medical, dental, vision)PTOPaid holidaysCollaborative environmentpositive work cultureworklife balanceGrowthadvancement Much more!Email Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
