Position Overview: Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Restructuring & Turnaround to lead their efforts in revitalizing underperforming businesses. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of successful turnarounds, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in restructuring, financial management, and operational improvement. This role requires a blend of analytical acumen, leadership skills, and the ability to drive change across diverse teams.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive restructuring and turnaround strategies that align with the organization's objectives.Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial assessments to identify key issues, risks, and opportunities for improvement within underperforming units.Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior leadership, board members, and external stakeholders to communicate strategic plans and gain support for initiatives.Operational Improvement: Identify and implement operational efficiencies, cost-saving measures, and revenue enhancement strategies.Change Management: Lead change initiatives, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and performance improvement throughout the organization.Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of restructuring efforts and adjust strategies as necessary.Team Development: Mentor and develop team members, ensuring they possess the skills and resources necessary to execute turnaround strategies effectively.Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on progress, challenges, and outcomes of restructuring initiatives to executive leadership.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.Minimum of 10 years of experience in restructuring, turnaround management, or corporate finance, with a demonstrated history of successful outcomes.Proven expertise in financial modeling, analysis, and strategic planning.Strong understanding of operational processes and the ability to drive cross-functional improvements.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization.Experience in managing complex projects with tight deadlines and multiple stakeholders.Proficiency in financial software and tools, with strong analytical capabilities.The Equus Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer and takes pride in maintaining a diverse environment.
