Controller

Growing, privately-owned real estate company is seeking a Controller to add to their team. This role will be involved in managing various areas of accounting operations including GL close, AP, AR, Financial Reporting, Property Accounting, and Controls. We are targeting candidates with 12-20 years of experience within property real estate accounting.Responsibilities IncludeManage the monthly, quarterly, and yearly close processOversee payables, receivables, cash managementLead payroll processQuarterly and yearly financial reportingEnsure controls are in compliance with industry standardsOther ad hoc projects as neededQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance12-20 years of experience in accountingReal Estate Property Accounting experience is requiredCPA is a plus but not requiredStrong communication and organization skills
