Position: Building Automation TechnicianPosition OverviewThe building automation technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting the building automation systems that control and monitor the various mechanical and electrical systems within a building. They must have a thorough understanding of building automation technology and be able to work independently to ensure the system is functioning properly.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall and program building automation systems according to specifications and design plansPerform routine maintenance and repairs on building automation equipment and controlsMonitor and troubleshoot system performance to identify and resolve any issuesUpdate software and firmware as needed to ensure system functionalityQualificationsExperience in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of building automation systemsStrong understanding of HVAC and electrical systemsExperience with PLC, Controls, Distech, SCADA, and Ignition systemsOpen to travelBenefitsLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
