A rapidly growing organization, executing a strategy to develop a nationwide industry leading TIC sales force, providing tremendous growth potential for candidates seeking career progression and advancement opportunity. Motivated candidates will engage in a robust onboarding process, industry specific technical training and situational sales training. Successful candidates will expand business with dormant and existing accounts, provide increased touch points for accounts, and engage in budgeting activity for assigned account lists. It will be your responsibility to ensure customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process. In addition to client relations, this role will interact with the broader Element Sales Team, General Manager, and labtechnical personnel. The ideal candidate will be action oriented, customer focused and have an entrepreneurial drive.ResponsibilitiesEstablish and proactively maintain a strong professional relationship with key decision makers and influencers within assigned accountsIdentify current and future customer service requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers, acting as a liaison between the customers Identify opportunities early in the sales cycle to ensure maximum share of wallet Qualify opportunities with assistance of inbound team specialistsManage relationships and utilize technical support to assist in SalesFollow up in a timely manner on quotations for the assigned customer baseActively engage in enterprise selling activities in assigned business unit and end marketActively utilize CRM to record activities, ensuring contact details are accurate, duplicates are removed, new information is added and accurate call visit logs are enteredActively participate in regular pipeline reviews, ensuring all CRM records are up to date and critical success factors are identified for key opportunitiesAchieve sales goals by converting and penetrating accountsIdentify future growth accounts and transition to Business Development Manager where applicablePerform quarterly strategic business reviews with top assigned accountsBuild and maintain a working knowledge of service offerings; participate in trainingcoaching opportunitiesEnsure compliance with all Element policies including but not limited to terms and conditions, trade compliance, treatment of others, moral code of conduct, and employee handbookEnsure adherence to all applicable laws pertaining to safety, environment and corporate governanceEngage in customer site visits and the development of visit agendaParticipate in trade show event when applicableSkills QualificationsApproximately 1-2 years of Business Development, Sales or Account Management experienceBachelors of Science (Engineering) preferred but other four year degree will be consideredAbility to read and interpret documents such as customer quotes contracts, marketing materials, and customer testing specificationsAbility to write routine reports and correspondence and speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organizationAbility to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions and proportions and apply concepts of basic algebra and geometryAbility to solve practical customer problems and interpret a variety of instructions, data and details furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule formA valid driver's license, with an acceptable driving record under Element's policyExperience in interpreting testing procedures and requirements desiredProficiency in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel)Experience with CRM applications or willingness to learn how to use effectivelyAvailability, flexibility, and maturity to represent the company at a broad range of events projects in the community, with customers and within the companyAbility to remain calm when faced with mounting pressure related to deadlines and multiple prioritiesWell-developed oral and written communication skills to meet a variety of communication needsGood interpersonal skills that foster open upward and downward communication built on mutual respectAbility to interface with clients, win new work and determine their requirements; helps develops proposals including cost estimates, work plan and terms and conditionsAbility to be on-site, at the required lab location, in the performance of daily sales activitiesSome overnight travel may be required
