This role focuses on utility-scale Solar and Battery projects in the Eastern Region and reports to the Regional Head of Utility Origination.Key Responsibilities:Develop utility-scale solar and battery project opportunities.Lead site control, feasibility evaluations, and project interconnection assessments.Identify and negotiate with early-stage developers, manage partnerships, and structure project deals.Utilize GIS tools to identify prime project sites.Prospect and secure greenfield and brownfield sites through land agreements.Conduct market research, regulatory analysis, and form development strategies.Support financial modeling and cross-functional coordination with Legal, Engineering, Finance, and Project Management teams.Qualifications:5+ years of experience in Energy Project Development or Business Development.Proven track record in negotiating commercial transactions.Bachelor's degree required, MBA or relevant master's preferred.Knowledge of the solar industry and regional regulations.Experience with RTOs, utilities, and multinational environments is a plus.Skills:Strong entrepreneurial drive, analytical skills, and team player mentality.Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.Flexibility and ability to manage challenges.
