Details:Schedule: 8am-4pm M-FLocation: 100% in office in Chaska, MNType: They are open to both temp to hire or direct hire Pay: $70K-$85K salary depending on level of experience+ annual bonus - depending on company performance and individual performance. Must be there for at least 6 months to earn.Responsibilities: Bid Management: Oversee the weekly bid list review to ensure the team is targeting the right opportunities, with priority given to preferred clients.Estimate Development: Analyze project plans and specifications, pricing materials, labor, equipment, and other costs to create accurate estimates for project budgets.Document Review: Review change orders, RFIs, ASIs, DCNs, and scope modifications for potential impact on the project.Blueprint Take-Offs: Accurately perform take-offs from blueprints, ensuring competitive and comprehensive coverage of the project scope, in line with company standards.Proposal Accuracy: Review the scope of work and bidding instructions to guarantee completeness and address any potential risks before submitting proposals.Bid Refinement: Follow the bid review process, making necessary adjustments to proposals as required.Collaboration: Work alongside Senior and Chief Estimators on determining bid margins, providing support on margin adjustments where needed.Bid Submittals: Assist Project Managers in completing bid submittal forms when necessary.Requirements:Construction Estimating Experience: Minimum of 1 year is dustry Knowledge: Experience in Drywall, Steel Stud Metal Framing, Paint, EFIS, or similar sectors is required.Educational Background: Technical degree, Bachelor's degree, or pursuit of a degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred.Technical Proficiency: Basic understanding of document editing software such as BlueBeam, Adobe Acrobat, Plan Grid, or Plexxis.Blueprint Comprehension: Ability to read and interpret complex construction documents such as blueprints.Financial Acumen: Strong financial munication Skills: Proven ability to engage in meaningful conversations with internal and external anizational Skills: Strong attention to detail with the ability to stay organized.Presentation Skills: Basic skills in presenting information clearly.Multi-Tasking: Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Work Ethic: Strong commitment to getting the job done.Problem-Solving Abilities: A mindset oriented towards solving problems.Benefits through the company: specific details will be providedMedical, dental and vision insurance plans401K with company match up to 4%Life insurancePerksCompany Culture: Team outings, BBQ's, monthly HH's, holiday party, mini golf in the officeOpportunities to go to job sitesRoom for growth: this role could lead to an Estimator II, Project Management, Sales, etc.!
