We are seeking a talented and experienced CNC Machinist Manager Director to expand our CNC Department and capabilities in the creation of exquisite pieces.Job Description:As the CNC Machinist ManagerDirector, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our CNC machining operations, from programming and production to quality control and team leadership. You will lead a team of machinists, working closely with designers, jewelers, stone setters, and other departments to ensure seamless execution of projects. A strong commitment to quality, innovation, and continuous improvement is essential.Key Responsibilities:â— Project Management: Collaborate with designers, product developers, and other departments to plan and execute projects, ensuring timely and accurate production of components.â— CNC Programming & Operation: Lead programming, set-up, and operation of CNC machines, ensuring optimal performance and precision.â— Quality Assurance: Establish and maintain high standards for quality control, ensuring all components meet rigorous demandsâ— Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing workflows and machining processes to enhance efficiency and reduce production times.â— Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and calibration of all CNC machines, ensuring they are in peak operational condition.â— Client & Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary contact for clients and stakeholders regarding technical specifications, production timelines, and project progress.â— Work onsite Monday to Friday 9AM-6PM in Midtown ManhattanQualifications:â— 10+ years of experience as a CNC Machinist, preferably in jewelry or a high-precision industry, ideally 5+ years in a managerialdirector roleâ— Professional expertise in CADCAM software (Fusion 360, Siemens NX, andor others)â— Hands-on experience with HAAS metal Mill and Lathe machines and other high-precision CNC equipmentâ— Experience with machining precious metals (silver, gold, platinum) preferableâ— Proven leadership skills, with experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.â— Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on time.â— Prior experience in high-precision industries (e.g., aerospace, medical devices, etc.)â— Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and excellence.â— Proven track record of innovation, creative problem solving, and process improvementEducation:â— Bachelor's degree in a related field (Engineering, Manufacturing, etc.) is preferred.â— Relevant technical certifications in CNC machining andor management are an advantage.Benefits:â— Compensation will be commensurate with proven track record and capabilityâ— Comprehensive medical insuranceâ— Career growth within a renowned jewelry manufacturer
