This position will manage electricians and electrical contractors and coordinate with other departments to achieve operational goals.This role requires a solid understanding of electrical systems, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards.Responsibilities:Reporting directly to the A.D. Facilities, this position is responsible for the development and enforcement of policies and procedures, related to the electrical systems.Directs departmental programs and activities to maintain and continuously improve the quality of the electrical infrastructure at Jubilant HollisterStier.Subject matter expert on electrical generation and distribution systems promptly resolving any issues directly or with the help of our third party service providers.Planning and implementing preventive and corrective electrical maintenance programs.Managing and supervising the work of the electrical maintenance team, and ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety, and regulatory guidelinesEnsures that all training of employees and contractors is complete.Analyze electrical faults, provide solutions, inspect and assess the functionality of electrical systems and components to determine root causes for failures and address resolve identified electrical issues.Performs risk assessments, business continuity planning and preparation.Responds to electrical incidents and emergencies as needed to ensure safety of employees and provide appropriate emergency response.This role requires a solid understanding of electrical systems, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standardsCoordinate with external contractors and suppliers for equipment procurement and maintenance services.Performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications:High School diploma or equivalement15-20 years' of related electrical experience with 5+ years of managingsupervising andor training in an applicable position in a campus environment, manufacturing facility, or related industry.Preferred Qualifications:Related experience andor training in a Pharmaceutical environment.Microsoft Office suite, surveillance & access control systems, strong written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge Strong knowledge and skills in the development, management and enforcement of policies and procedures necessary for maintaining the facilities and security of a pharmaceutical manufacturing campus.Ability to schedule and oversee the work of others within the department and third party service providers.Able to define problems, prioritize, collect data, establish facts and build solid business cases to move the business forward.Ability to write effective reports and business correspondence.Must be available to be on-call when coverage is needed or issues arise.Must be a self-starter who requires minimal direct supervisionCommunication SkillsMust have strong customer service skills.Reasoning Ability Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.Ability to maintain composure, respect and professionalism during security issues events.Must maintain high degree of confidentiality.Leadership Ability to lead and direct others for the completion of assigned tasks for a specific area of operation to accomplish organizational goals.Shift: DaysCompensation: The salary range for this position is $80,500 - $138,000 depending on experience.
