We offer competitive benefits and pany: ViscoTec America Inc.Job Title: Field Service EngineerAssigned to: Director, Technical DepartmentResponsibilities:Onsite equipment commissioning and technical support for North AmericaProvide technical support through multiple communication mediums with a focus on remediating customer inquiriesCarry out customer product testing and POCs Equipment repairs and assemblyPrepare technical documentation (ex. testing results, RGA management, equipment builds and field service documents)Assist with on-site testing, documentation, and customer hostingPerform technical training sessions at customer sitesPerform electrical work on Siemens and Allen-Bradley based control systemsCollaborate with colleagues at our German headquarters to resolve technical issuesRequirements:Education requirements:Associate degree or higher in a technical field or engineering. Also, a minimum of 2 to 4 years' experience in the industrial automation industry. Must have a strong mechanical and electrical background. Previous field equipment commissioning and troubleshooting experience is preferred.Skills and personality traits:Enjoys customer facing interactions, but also on the phone and through emailHave an aptitude for attention to detail and very hands onIs highly organized with the ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasksA resourceful self-starter initiates work without specific instructionBusiness growth enabler and Brand focusedSolidWorksCAD experience a plusFlexible and works professionallyAbility to work in the field 50% when not in local officeLocation:Main Office in Kennesaw, GAWork Schedule:The position involves a standard 40-hour workweek, with direction provided by the Director of the Technical Department.
