Job Overview:The Operations Engineer applies their conceptual knowledge of Operations Engineering (Fab) and, with a moderate level of guidance and direction from colleagues and leadership, is responsible for solving a range of straightforward Operations Engineering (Fab) problems. They will be responsible for analyzing possible solutions using standard procedures and building knowledge of the company, processes, and customers. The Operations Engineer understands critical business drivers and applies this knowledge to solve problems in straightforward situations by analyzing possible solutions using technical experience, judgment, and precedents.Key Tasks and Responsibilities:Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and successful execution of EPCI projectsConduct comprehensive feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost analyses to support project planning and decision-makingDevelop and implement project schedules, ensuring adherence to milestones, deadlines, and quality standardsMonitor project progress and identify potential issues or bottlenecks, taking proactive measures to mitigate risks and ensure smooth project deliveryIdentify operational inefficiencies, analyze existing processes, and propose innovative solutions for optimizationCollaborate with engineering teams to streamline workflows and enhance productivity through improved processes, tools, and automationConduct continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging lean principles and industry best practices to drive operational excellenceProvide technical expertise and support to identify areas for process improvement and lead implementation effortsEnsure conformance to Level 2 procedures for all the project-specific wire rope applications and riggingReview pre-rigged sling tie-downs and protection arrangements prepared by field engineersResponsible for compilation of project rigging certification Essential Qualifications and Education:Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field3-5 years of experience in the EPCI industry, with a strong understanding of engineering principles and project execution processesSolid knowledge of relevant industry standards, codes, and regulationsProficiency in using software tools and systems commonly utilized in the EPCI industryFamiliarity with project management methodologies and toolsExceptional analytical aptitude with an ability to solve complex problems efficientlyStrong attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reportingDemonstrated ability to interpret technical data, identify trends, and make informed recommendationsExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teamsStrong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain positive working relationships with stakeholders, both internally and externallyProven ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneouslyDemonstrated drive for results with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes within specified timelinesAbility to work under pressure, adapt to changing priorities and meet demanding project requirementsStrong problem-solving skills, resourcefulness, and the ability to exercise sound judgment
