This position has the responsibility for the maintenance, troubleshooting and administration of the organization's server and storage infrastructure. The person in this position will work closely with members of the IT staff to ensure very high levels of server availability, security, and efficiency. They will serve as the technical resource for server and storage production operations support and relevant projects. Job Responsibilities Coordinate with our outsourced IT provider to support IT initiatives. Manage third-party IT vendor relationships/contracts. Recommend purchases of IT equipment and software. Maintain inventory of all IT equipment and make sure hardware drivers are current. Reviews and recommends technical solutions and potential improvements to resolve issues, prevent recurrence of problems, or improve reliability. Maintain and troubleshoot litigation support software applications, databases, and networks. Perform IT needs assessments, technology, and vendor selections, focus on building best practices while controlling costs. Create scopes of work for professional services engagements Strong knowledge in virtualization, storage, servers, and data protection. Experience in managing and building Virtualization platform (VMWare, Citrix, Hyper-V, etc). Strong Knowledge in Storage tools (DELL, HPE, Pure, etc). Experience in Data Protection tools (DPM, Veeam, CommVault, Acronis, etc) Experience managing Server architecture (HP ProLiant, Dell Servers, Cisco UCS) Monitor the remote monitoring and management system alerts and notifications and respond accordingly through service tickets. Strong knowledge Operating System (Windows/Linux) Strong oral and written communication skills Troubleshooting on DFS, File servers, Print Servers, Share Permissions etc Troubleshooting on SFX/SFTP related issue. Develops and promotes standard operating procedures. Check Event and Alerts and action on them for CPU, Memory and Datastore high uses alerts. Perform known issue resolution for ESXi host or VM's i.e. reading ESXi host in vCenter, specific ESXi service restart etc. Scripting (PowerShell or Shell) knowledge preferred. Interpersonal skills: such as telephony skills, communication skills, active listening, and customer-care Diagnosis skills of technical issues Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly. Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively. Support of disaster recovery solutions Basic remote access solution implementation and support: VPN, ConnectWise Automate, and other tools Monitor the remote monitoring and management system alerts and notifications, and respond accordingly through service tickets Communication with customers as required: keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages. Improve customer service, perception, and satisfaction. Job Requirements High School Diploma, degree from technical/vocational school or equivalent. Degree from technical/vocational school or equivalent , bachelor's degree in information systems preferred. Senior-level; varies depending on area, but generally 6+ years directly related experience. 6+ years of in-depth experience maintaining and supporting technology solutions that utilize technical skills described above. 6+ years of in-depth experience supporting and troubleshooting a multi-server windows Domain network environment. Experience working directly with technical engineers and practice managers as well as nontechnical end-users.
