As a Patient Care Technician, you will be working collaboratively with the Nurses within the unit. Your care and treatment of these patients is an integral part of the Patient Experience. As a Patient Care Technician, you would be caring for a patient population by assisting with their daily living activities, taking vital signs, Accu-Cheks, Phlebotomy, EKG's, and other nursing assistant responsibilities. Position: Patient Care Technician PCT - Cardiac Thoracic ICU Shift: Days, 7am-730pm Experience: 1. Previous experience in delivery of patient services preferred. 2. Phlebotomy experience preferred. Education: 1. Graduation from high school or equivalent required. 2. Some college preferred. Licensures/Certifications: Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) preferred on hire / required prior to completion of unit orientation.
