Finance Manager Orangeburg, NY, United States | req18949 What you will enjoy doing* As Finance Manager you will work closelywith the Vice President of EDM and Global Business Function Leaders to deliverdecision-relevant data in real time Further you closely cooperate with theGlobal Materials FP&A team to identify new business trends Own and manage the EDM CapEx budget,project prioritization and investment analysis. Finance Process for Orangeburg AR, AP, inventory and FP&A Deliver commercial planning, analysis, andexecution -Challengestrategic investment and growth plans wherever necessary, focused on reducingmargin erosion Partneron EDM's Finance Leadership initiatives Coordinate FP&A-related continuousimprovement, drive process enhancements and support harmonization of data Create and deliver accurate and timelyfinancial reports to the EDM leadership team Ensure strong financial control,compliance, and reporting -Provide accurate monthly reporting of performancedetailing variances from budget and target -Manage to stringent Operating and CapEx Investment budgets Drive financial and business planning -Influenceand support annual budget and monthly forecasting processes to ensure risks andopportunities are identified and understood, through review and challenge ofthe senior team What makes you great Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or relateddisciplines 5+ years in an operations or manufacturing environment, orFP&A function Systems experience: Oracle financial system, Hyperion Essbase;Familiarity with Tableau and/or Power BI is a plus Must be able to effectively develop relationships and partner withthe business to drive results Enthusiasm to work as a team player Applies strong technical and analytical skills to influencestrategic business decisions Demonstrates strong business acumen Excellent written and oral communication Ability towork under pressure and prioritize to meet deadlines Ability tonavigate and influence in a matrix organization Confidenceto interact with all levels of the organization Why you will love working with us Linde Advanced Material Technologies, formerly Praxair Surface Technologies, is a company that revolutionizes industries through innovative materials and surface coatings.
