Location: Tampa, FL (Downtown) Reports To: Senior Director Employment Type: Full-Time About Us: We are a leading staffing company specializing in the AEC industry. Our mission is to provide skilled labor and workforce solutions to support the dynamic needs of construction projects. We are seeking an experienced Account Manager with a strong background in construction to join our growing team. We are located downtown in the Truist building with exceptional views and amenities. Job Summary: The Account Manager is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients in the construction industry. This role involves identifying staffing needs, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and managing key accounts to ensure client satisfaction and business growth. We have an extensive foothold in the Architecture and Engineering side of AEC, and are looking for a high-impact individual to come in and help us build out the Construction verticle. Initially, some full desk work will be needed to get up and running. However, this individual would have the construction industry to themselves with recruiter support once there have established clients and reqs. Key Responsibilities: Client Relationship Management Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients in the construction sector Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their staffing needs are met Account Development Identify new business opportunities within the construction industry Upsell staffing solutions to existing clients by understanding their upcoming project requirement Prepare and deliver presentations to prospective clients regarding staffing solution Staffing Coordination Work closely with the recruitment team to ensure suitable candidates are matched to client requirement Communicate client expectations to recruiters and ensure timely placement of staff Ensure compliance with safety standards and employment regulation Sales and Revenue Growth Meet or exceed sales targets by developing and expanding account Prepare proposals and negotiate contracts in alignment with company policies Track and report on sales activities, account status, and key performance indicators Problem Solving and Issue Resolution Address client concerns promptly and effectively, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction Mediate between clients and candidates to resolve any disputes or issues that may arise Market Insights and Industry Knowledge Stay updated on trends and developments within the construction industry Provide feedback to internal teams about market conditions, competition, and client preferences Requirements: Experience Minimum 2-7 years of experience in account management, sales, or business development Experience working within the construction industry or staffing services is essential Skill Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize task Knowledge of construction labor roles and project cycle Proficiency in ATS software and Microsoft Office Suit Personal Attributes Self-motivated, results-oriented, and customer-focused Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Benefit Competitive salary and commission structure Hybrid 3 (in) x2 (out) Work Schedule Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holiday Annual Presidents Club trip to All-Inclusive Resor Professional development and growth opportunities
