Offering HVAC, Plumbing, BIM and prefab services Projects: Large mixed-use residential, general commercial, just expanded into the DCAM space (public work)Tons of room for growth within the company Publicly backed by the Local 12*Apply online today and your resume will be considered within 48 hours of application*Job DescriptionThe Estimator will be responsible for:Communicating in a professional manner with both clients, business partners, and colleaguesCollaborating with project managers, engineers, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary information and ensure accurate estimatesReviewing and interpreting project documents, including drawings, specifications, and contracts to develop a clear and detailed understanding of the project scope.Identifying discrepancies and gaps in the documents that must be filled in for a complete proposalPreparing comprehensive and accurate cost estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costsSoliciting subcontractor and vendor pricing and ensures proper scope inclusionCompleting detailed labor and material takeoffsMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful ApplicantThe successful candidate has:3+ years of experience working as a Mechanical EstimatorA Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related fieldDemonstrated knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and industry standardsDemonstrates good judgement and professionalismAbility to handle multiple tasks in an organized mannerAttention to detail, can produce quality work on strict deadlinesStrong technical, computer abilitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsWhat's on OfferThe Estimator will receive:Base salary between $70K-$100k (depending on experience)PTO, sick daysHealthcare, 401KContinued learning & education - will happily pay for certifications, trainingsContactDevin LivelyQuote job refJN-
