Clinical Research Informatician Location: Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid) Direct Hire Pay Rate: $125k-$135k Schedule: M-F 8-5pm The Clinical Research Informatician serves as a vital link between clinicians, researchers, and data, leveraging expertise in clinical workflows, terminology, and health information technology. This role supports clinical and translational research aimed at enhancing patient care through the development, implementation, and maintenance of clinical applications and data systems. Responsibilities: • ct as a liaison between clinicians, researchers, and data stewards to facilitate effective data utilization. • Interface with stakeholders to drive informatics software development, maintenance, and operational enhancements. • Design and optimize streamlined workflows for healthcare data utilization. • Develop, test, and implement applications and algorithms for healthcare data collection and analysis. • Collect, organize, curate, and document healthcare information within data warehouses. • Collaborate on presentations, scientific publications, and grant proposals. • pply research insights to improve patient care and healthcare operations. • Utilize SQL, Python, and other coding languages for healthcare data analysis. • Optimize clinical workflows to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and patient outcomes. • Collaborate with software vendors and IT service providers to tailor solutions to healthcare facility needs. Education and Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in health information management, Health Informatics, a clinical field (e.g., nursing) with Health Informatics certification, or Informatics, Computer Science, Statistics, Biomedical Engineering, or Artificial Intelligence with Health Informatics certification. Master's Degree preferred. • Minimum 2+ years' experience in clinical research, clinical informatics, IT or academic healthcare setting • Experience with clinical operations, Health Information Management, or care management. • Familiarity with clinical standards, coding, definitions, ontologies, dictionaries, and taxonomies. • Experience implementing new technologies in clinical settings and working with clinical KPIs.
