Aegis Worldwide is currently partnered with a leader and innovator in the industrial manufacturing space that continues to pursue strong growth plans within the marketplace. They have maintained that position through innovative design, quick deliveries, and superior service. Their goal is to make the entire process of buying, installing, using and servicing their products, as easy and trouble free as possible for each and every customer. Technical Skills required: (i.e. software, hardware, etc): Must Haves: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related degree 2-4 years of experience Someone who is technically curious - We really want someone who learns the why behind what they are doing and how they make engineering decision. Nice to Have: Engineers Engineer - We want Engineers that have mechanical hobbies, work on cars, etc. Formula SAE is a student design competition that Engineers will do in college that has them design racecars and be hands-on. That type of background would be excellent or other examples of working hands-on. Looking for someone that is taking the initiative technically to learn new things and evolve. Machine Design - if not industrial equipment, the next best would be some type of electro-mechanical or mechanical products that have an industrial application. Pumps, motors, valves, cylinders, hydraulics, pneumatics, etc. Not looking for plants that are making high volume low mix products. Analysis and design of steel structures or weldments would also be a plus. Knowledge of metal fabrication, machining, and welding environments. We have all of these in our parts so the Engineers are designing parts & assemblies for these operations. Solidworks experience would be a nice to have but we can train this. Would be ancillary. Job Description: This Engineer will be involved in the customization and design of all new and existing product orders from customers. They will be generally juggling several different equipment projects at one time, but primarily focused on the actual design activities that go along with an Engineering position (this is not a project management role). The products that we make are highly customized, so someone that comes from a Machine Design background or minimum, a background where they've designed industrial products would be ideal. Our preference will be finding a good, diligent Engineer that has cut their teeth in Design work during their first job out of school.
