As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initial design and planning to construction management and project closeout. This position requires technical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet regulatory and quality standards.Who we are: DOTec Corp is a professional engineering company founded in 1991 by Dr. Al Gonzalez Artigas, licensed in 48 states across the U.S. We provide a wide range of multi-disciplinary design and consulting engineering services across various fields, including civil, structural, industrial, mechanical, electrical, chemical, and forensic engineering. DOTec Corp also specializes in construction consulting, offering complete engineering support, permitting assistance, and value engineering. Our commitment to following the highest engineering standards ensures the success of projects in diverse sectors like solar energy, residential and commercial buildings, air structures, and new product development.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Design and Planning:Develop comprehensive electrical engineering designs and plans for projects.Collaborate with architects, urban planners, and other professionals to meet project requirements.Review and approve detailed plans, specifications, and cost Assessment and Feasibility Studies:Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to evaluate project potential.Analyze customer-supplied documentation to understand site conditions and constraints.Regulatory Compliance and Permitting:Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal and submit necessary permits and related Estimation and Budget Management (As Needed):Prepare accurate cost estimates and manage project budgets.Monitor expenses and propose value engineering solutions for cost efficiency.Construction Management and Supervision (As Needed):Oversee construction activities to ensure adherence to design, safety standards, and schedules.Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to maintain project timelines and quality.Risk Assessment and Mitigation:Identify project risks and develop strategies to mitigate delays and budget overruns.Proactively address potential issues related to regulatory compliance.Project Documentation and Reporting:Maintain detailed project documentation, including drawings, reports, and correspondence.Prepare progress reports and compile as-built documentation for final project handover.Client and Stakeholder Communication:Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and stakeholders.Provide regular updates on project status and address client concerns to ensure ideal candidate should possess:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.Professional Engineer (PE) license required, with licensure in MO; additional states preferred.Proven experience managing complex electrical engineering projects from conception to completion.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software.Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and building codes.Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality, on-time results.Benefits:Health Insurance OptionsDentalVisionPaid Time Off401k Retirement PlanCareer Growth OpportunitiesWork Life BalanceTravel OpportunitiesCompany and Team EventsContinued Training and CertificationsCompany Vehicle Mileage ReimbursementSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to Friday - 7:30am - 4pmWork Location:This position is based at our office in St Charles, MissouriAre you ready to lead groundbreaking electrical engineering projects and make a significant impact?
