Consensus Health is looking for a Board Certified Primary Care Physician who will join their team in the desirable community of Lake Hopatcong, NJ. The Physician will work with other healthcare providers and support staff in a multi-specialty, group practice. Job Description:• Responsibilities include providing patient medical care to all age groups in an office-based setting, delivering diagnostic and therapeutic medical services, and making sound medical assessments and treatment plans.• Outpatient setting• 36 clinical hours + 4 administrative hours (working schedule TBD by practice to include some on call and rotating Saturday shifts): Disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery • Treatment of acute illnesses • Treatment of acute injuries • Prescribes and administers medications, performs routine vaccinations, and provides advice regarding personal health and hygiene • Requests necessary tests and follow-up visits and refers patients to specialists, as necessary• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals.• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected • Provides direction to both clinical and reception support staff • Proper and complete medical documentation (without copy/paste) for all patient care in order to assure accuracy (above 80% with goal of 95%) of E/M coding - and closing/sign off after review of all patient charts in accordance with company policies? Failure to meet this essential job function can affect the eligibility for productivity/PCN (percent net collection) bonuses • Approximately 20-25 patients per day• Proper and complete medical documentation (without copy/paste) for all patient care in order to assure accuracy of HCC coding.
