Our ideal candidate will have some or all of the following experience, skills, and characteristics: Previous experience with waste water, and other labor-related tasks Experience working in various weather conditions (snow, rain, heat, etc.) and environments (dust, fumes, etc.) Knowledge of city of Denver streets/alleys and use of maps Desire to promote to other positions within the department MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education requirement: None Experience Requirement: One (1) year of experience performing unskilled labor work. Education/Experience Equivalency: Additional appropriate education may be substituted for the minimum experience requirement. License/Certifications: By position, requires a valid Driver's License at the time of application. By position, requires a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL "B") with appropriate endorsements within six (6) months of employment and must be kept current as a condition of employment. By position, requires a CDL Tanker Endorsement within 6 months of hire. Licenses and certifications must be kept current as a condition of employment.
