Assist head cooks in production and service. Work in head cook's absence, as specified in that position's job description. Assist in other kitchen production areas, such as pantry and banquets, as needed. Responsible for keeping position on the line clean and sanitary during shift and completing daily checklists accurately. Maintain proper storage procedures and follow Food Handling guidelines as specified by Health Department and hotel requirements. Qualifications 2 years of experience in a cook's position in a quality kitchen. Ability to lift objects weighing up to 35 pounds. Standing or walking to a significant degree.
