JOIN THE TEAM COMMITTED TO DRIVING YOUR CAREER FORWARD Job Type: Full time Exempt/Non Exempt: Salary Job Description: Position Description Primary Duties and Responsibilities (details of the basic job functions): Serves as a team leader or technical team member in the planning, designing, developing, implementing, and/or supporting moderately complex new or revised processes, systems, or networks, or segments of a large or complex system (e.g., complex maintenance project). Responsible for the timely completion and quality of assigned deliverables and strives to achieve service level objectives. Develops system specifications, prototypes, and all levels of documentation (e.g., structure charts, screen designs, data flow diagrams, file layouts, report layouts, and job run descriptions) in accordance with IS standards. Assists Security team in the development of appropriate audit controls and procedures to ensure the integrity and protection of company resources. Defines the functional requirements of the system to support business needs. Supervisory Responsibilities (briefly describe, if applicable, or indicate None): none Required Qualifications (these are the minimum requirements to qualify) Education (include minimum education and any licensing/certifications): Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field or an equivalent level of work experience. Experience: designing, developing, implementing, or supporting moderately complex information systems (or complex maintenance projects) building or supporting mainframe, distributed or Web-based systems structured systems analysis, design, programming and testing identifying, analyzing and resolving business/technical problems monitoring tasks, using appropriate tools and techniques, recording progress, adjusting to possible project changes and meeting deadlines user interaction and facilitation mainframe, distributed, and/or Web-based system design and development database management systems (e.g., IMS DB, DB2, SQL Server, DB2 Oracle) PC fundamentals (e.g., MS Office) programming languages (e.g., COBOL II, JAVA, JAVASCRIPT, JSP, HTML, XML,) online communication (e.g., IMS DC, CICS) system development tools (e.g., Endevor, IMS Expert, Xpediter, SQA Team Test, VisualAge for JAVA, WEB SPHERE STUDIO, IBM Jade, Eclipse) operating systems (e.g., MVS, Windows, Windows, UNIX) database design local area networks and network communication Knowledge and Skills: systems operations practices security and control procedures systems development methodologies evaluate a moderately complex system and understand the inter-dependencies between components lead teams of individuals in a matrix organization Preferred Qualifications Experience developing methodologies Experience in SAP Insurance module, System & Database design and Production support Knowledge on SAP database tables, SAP defined functions/programs used in Insurance module Creating SAP Enhancements and troubleshooting errors Knowledge in configuration for SAP insurance module Experience and Knowledge in Autosys Job scheduling, setting up job, executing/modifying jobs Monitoring and troubleshooting errors in Autosys Experience in SAP PI/PO components like Integration Builder, Integration Directory, SLD, Alert Configuration, NWA Good working knowledge of standard adapters such as FILE, JDBC, SOAP, REST, SFTP, Proxy, etc. Experience in Troubleshooting, Monitoring queues in PO (Process Orchestration Joint Application Design (JAD)/Rapid Application Design (RAD) techniques Experience performing database modeling SAP Certification Claims and Insurance background Experience in SAP Insurance module, System& Database design and Production support Knowledge on SAP database tables, SAP defined functions/programs used in Insurance module Experience and Knowledge in Autosys Job scheduling, setting up job, executing/modifying jobs Work Environment This is a hybrid work arrangement (time spent in office and remote). Depending on the employee's role and leadership's assessment, some employees will come into an ACG facility on a weekly basis, a monthly basis, or on an "as needed" basis for key meetings and collaborative activities. Most employees will be required to come into the office, at a minimum, for important departmental meetings or teambuilding events. This role currently completes daily work functions on a remote basis with specified reporting days as outlined by management. Candidates will be required to report in office on specified days if they reside within 50 miles of an ACG administrative office building. Total Compensation Overview: TheACG Applications Developer will earn an annual salary of $91,000.00 - $130,000.00 with annual bonus potential based on performance.Excellent and comprehensive benefits packages are just another reason to work for the Auto Club Group.
