Our client, a reputable design and construction firm, is seeking a motivated and experienced Structural Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for interpreting design criteria, performing structural analysis, and producing detailed permit and construction drawings. You will collaborate with project management, field personnel, suppliers, and design team members to ensure the successful and timely completion of multiple projects. Key Responsibilities: Analyze, design, and create construction documents for various structures, including foundations, reinforced concrete, steel, and wood elements. Coordinate design drawings with other disciplines to ensure accuracy and completeness. Develop and implement office standards for structural documentation using Revit. Respond to field questions and provide engineering support, including on-site visits as needed. Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to address specialty foundations and unique steel details. Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes and regulations. Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or equivalent technical training and related experience. Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred. Experience with reinforced concrete, steel, and wood design, and the analysis of foundations and structural systems. Familiarity with applicable building codes and construction methods. Proficiency in CAD and Revit software. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work well with both technical and non-technical team members. Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management abilities. Self-motivated with a keen attention to detail. Exceptional problem-solving skills and a strong work ethic. Working Conditions: Physical requirements: Occasional lifting (up to 50 lbs.), walking, standing, sitting, and the ability to communicate effectively. Environmental conditions: Primarily indoor work in a controlled environment, with occasional site visits as required.
