Whether you will spend your day brainstorming in an office cubicle, operating a crane, running manufacturing equipment or troubleshooting technical obstacles, at CMC, you'll get the training and support from your team that you need to excel in your role and reach your full potential.What You'll DoParticipates in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively upholds the CMC Safety CultureMaintains work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows safety regulationsConserves maintenance resources by efficiently using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job resultsPossess proficient skills utilizing hand tools, power tools and precision tools for performing all facets of the repair and maintenance processAbility to interact and communicate with co-workers, company leaders, and customers in a positive manner requiredOperates and trobuleshoots issues with mobile equipment: loaders, forklifts, trucks and other equipmentServices machinery and mechanical equipment by completing repairs on engines, hydraulics systems, mobile and stationary equipmentRepair engine failures, mechanical and electrical system malfunctions, body repair and replacing parts and componentsVerifies vehicle serviceability by conducting test drives, and adjusting controls and systemsMaintains specified records of work performed, details of repairs, and material usageAny other tasks as assigned by supervisorWhat You'll NeedAbility to lift up to 50 lbsAbility to work in all weather conditionsExperience with a wide variety of tools related to mechanics/hydraulicsExperience with basic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, engines, mobile equipment, and vehicles (number of years up to location preference)Possess proficient skills utilizing hand tools, power tools and precision tools for performing all facets of the repair and maintenance processMinimum 5 years of mechanical experience to include repair on diesel enginesPossess specific fundamental knowledge of bearings, power transmission equipment, electrical, hydraulics/pneumatics, lubrication, fluid pumping systems, and heat transferAny other tasks as assigned by supervisorYour EducationHigh School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is requiredWe are Commercial Metals Company, a Fortune500 company with a family feel that's already part of your life.
