6-month contract - to hire Location: Hybrid Job Summary We have partnered with a leader in the food industry to find their next Project Manager. They seek a highly experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to lead and manage strategic IT projects, focusing on infrastructure and information security initiatives. This role will oversee the entire project lifecycle, ensuring that projects meet budget, schedule, and performance goals. Key Responsibilities Project Charter Creation: Develop comprehensive project charters for strategic IT projects and gain stakeholder approval. Project Planning: Build detailed project plans and work with cross-functional resource managers to ensure timely execution. Governance & Compliance: Follow company project management processes, ensuring adherence to governance, architectural, and compliance standards. Team Coordination: Schedule and lead project meetings to keep all stakeholders informed and aligned on progress. Budget & Procurement: Manage project budgets, procure necessary materials or services following internal financial guidelines, and track project cost savings. Risk & Issue Management: Track and resolve project risks and issues to ensure smooth project go-lives. Communication Plans: Develop and execute communication strategies, ensuring effective deployment and stakeholder engagement. Go-Live & Testing Plans: Develop cutover and testing plans to ensure successful project go-lives, minimizing risks. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience. Experience: 2-4 yrs experience with infrastructure PM. Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to ensure alignment across project teams. Strong multitasking and organizational abilities to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously. Proficiency in project management software, such as Microsoft Project or Jira. Preferred Qualifications Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification. Experience: Proven history managing infrastructure projects, including network, server, database, end-user computing, and information security.
