Job Reference Number: 23086 Employment Type: Full-Time , Onsite Segment: Elior Corporate Brand: Elior North America Corporate State: Texas (US-TX) The Role at a glance: We are excited to bring on a new Senior Vice President of Information Systems (SVP-IS), for our Houston, TX based headquarters. This opportunity is a key leadership role responsible for the strategic planning, development, and implementation of the Elior North America's information systems and technology. This role oversees the IT function, ensuring that technology initiatives are aligned with the company's business goals and objectives. The ideal candidate will marry a good balance of business sense and technical ingenuity to bring forward Elior's technical transformation. The SVP-IS will drive innovation, manage IT risks, and lead a team of professionals to deliver reliable technology solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of IS systems, digital and industrial control systems, business warehouse and data analysis, and financial consolidation. This is a great opportunity to lead the transformation of Enterprise Applications as we look to standardize and automate across Elior businesses. This role will be out of our Houston, TX based office. #indeedelior #LIGG1 What you'll be doing: Ensure global IS policies and procedures that protect the organization's data and technology assets are executed and maintained Oversee disaster recovery planning and business continuity initiatives. Develop and implement the IS strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives. Serve as a key advisor on technology trends and innovations that could impact the company's growth and competitive positioning. Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of IS infrastructure, including networks, data centers, and cloud solutions. Oversee the design, development, and implementation of software applications and systems that enhance operational efficiencies. Collaborate with executive leadership, department heads, and key stakeholders to align IS initiatives with business priorities. Participate in the global implementation of the company's strategic IT programs and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and controls. Lead, mentor, and develop a large team of high performing IS professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Manage the recruitment, development, and retention of IS talent. Establish performance goals, monitor team progress, and provide regular feedback to support professional growth. Ensure the organization's IS systems are secure, compliant with industry regulations, and aligned with best practices. Develop and manage the IS budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost-effective operations. Monitor IS expenditures and implement cost-saving initiatives where appropriate. What we're looking for: Muist-haves: Experience: 15+ years of progressive experience in IS management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Proven track record of managing large-scale IS projects, including software development, systems integration, and infrastructure upgrades. Extensive experience with, cybersecurity, data management, and enterprise architecture. Strong understanding of business operations and the ability to align IS strategies with business objectives. Strong leadership and team-building capabilities. Adaptability and willingness to embrace change. Education: bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field Nice-to-haves: Master's degree Knowledge of SAP S4 Hana Where you'll be working: We are locateed at 4921 Westway Park Blvd. Houston, TX 77041.
