Maintenance Technician (Nutraceutical) Manufacturing Portland, OR, US Added - 08/10/2024 Apply for Job Exciting leadership opportunity to work as a Maintenance Technician II with an Expanding Nutraceutical company within a cGMP regulated manufacturing environment on swing shift! Pay: $35-$40/hr DOE + Shift differential Schedule: SWING shift M-F 2pm - 10:30pm Type of Job: Direct Hire Location: Portland, OR ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Indirect training of Production personnel including other maintenance technicians. Ordering parts when requested to maintain an adequate spare inventory to minimize any machine downtime Get quotes and prepare requisition requests. Respond to received work requests while focusing on Safety, Quality and Equipment Efficiency. Diagnose and prioritize problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust machinery Perform prioritized and scheduled maintenance repairs Troubleshoot all mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and electronic systems using test instruments when necessary Diagnose sources of failure or downtime, identify and correct to avoid unnecessary or repeated downtime. Comply with all Departmental policies and procedures. QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma Required. Associates Degree Preferred 3-5 years of maintenance experience within production / industrial environments Experience with PLCs, pneumatics, conveyors, hydraulics, packaging equipment.
