Electrical Engineer

Electrical Engineer*Direct hire role with company provided benefits, 401k, PTO, Holiday etc.Location: York, PA area Summary:Our client is a custom industrial equipment manufacturer and they are looking to add an Electrical Engineer to their team. The Electrical Engineer will play a critical role in electrical design, as well as engineering the equipment, including the PLCs and programs. This position involves creating detailed wiring diagrams and schematics using AutoCAD, selecting and sizing electrical components, and programming PLCs. You will also troubleshoot systems and support the startup and commissioning of equipment both in-house and onsite. Key Duties:Design electrical systems: Develop wiring diagrams and schematics using ponent selection: Size and select electrical components, including PLCs.PLC programming: Program, troubleshoot, and optimize PLCs for automated missioning: Lead start-up and commissioning efforts, both onsite and remotely.Collaborate: Work closely with shop personnel to ensure the accurate construction of equipment.Key Qualifications:Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent experience.Experience with AutoCAD for schematic design.Proficiency in PLC programming and troubleshooting.Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in industrial automation.Willingness to travel for project commissioning (25-30%).Opportunities:Grow your programming expertise.Take ownership of full project lifecycle, from design to commissioning.Drive innovation and efficiency in electrical design and system troubleshooting.
