As a Help Desk Specialist, you will have the chance to gain valuable hands-on experience while supporting our clients in resolving their technical issues. This position requires a TS/SCI clearance, making it an excellent opportunity for individuals with an existing clearance. The position is onsite, located in Washington, DC 20002. Clearance : Required: Top Secret/SCI Locations: Local to Washington, DC - 145 N Street NE Responsibilities: Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: Provide alternating after hours (on-call) support from Monday-Sunday 6PM-6AM EST including Holidays. Provide phone and physical on-site support for all local and remote sites. Physical on-site support to local and remote sites may require up to (25%) travel. Will administer user accounts, using Active Directory (AD). Will administer users email accounts using Microsoft Exchange. Knowledge and experience with ServiceNow or similar incident management tool. Knowledge and experience with Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP). Configure, deploy, and install desktop hardware (WYSE desktops, Printers, Scanners, etc.) Configure, deploy, and install network hardware (TACLANES, Routers, Switches, etc.) Monitor and troubleshoot the Department's Automated Message Handling System (AMHS) interagency record message service, processing incoming and outgoing messages as needed. Measure customer satisfaction using a three (3) question survey which will be distributed to end-users via email after a ticket is closed. Provide input to the OCIO SDS Daily Operations report by providing service request and incident data, call volume data, and end-user ticket data for the previous business day. Also provide information regarding service desk performance issues and unresolved VIP tickets. Qualifications: Knowledge of ServiceNow Knowledge of Active Directory Knowledge of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) Preferred Skills: Support National Security Systems Public Key Infrastructure (NSS PKI) and Intelligence Community PKI (IC-PKI) lifecycle management. Support NSS-PKI and IC-PKI-related incidents, and full lifecycle management of both tokens based soft certificates to smart-card hard certificates. Knowledge and experience with VDI and virtual environments.
