**THIS POSITION IS BEING RECRUITED FOR INTERNALLY - RECRUITERSAGENCIES PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT****Position is full time onsite - no remote work**The Account Manager owns the commercial relationship with their assigned customers with the responsibility to provide excellent customer service, build trusted relationships, and grow sales and profitability.This position requires exceptional communication skills, strong business acumen, leadership and problem-solving skills to ensure that the requirements of the business, contracts and customers are being met. This position has a direct impact on the revenue and profitability of California Amforge.The statements included in this description are intended to reflect in general the duties & responsibilities of the classification & are not to be interpreted as being all-inclusive.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESEnter customer orders and initiate RFQ activityRespond to requests for order status and information, with emphasis on accurate and timely response. Serve as both external and internal focal for escalation and resolution of issuesManage pricing for contractual and transactional business, seeking to improve profitabilitySolicit opportunities for new business and initiate new business RFQs, recommending pricing strategies and leading negotiationsBuild close relationships within the customers' organizations to favorably influence customers' activities, priorities and business outcomesServe as an advocate for the customer, providing input to drive performance and practices to establish a trusted relationship and sales growthDevelop collaborative relationships with internal manufacturing, supply chain, and quality teams, and knowledge of our processes and procedures.QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree is strongly preferred5+ years of experience in Aerospace industry in Sales, Business Development Program Management, or Business Management, or similar roleFlexibility for occasional travel to customers locally and outside of stateDemonstrated ability to manage customer relationships, contracts and proposalsStrong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills. Must be able to multi-task and meet deadlinescommitments in a fast-paced environmentStrong business acumen, including knowledge of pricing strategies and manufacturing and quality processesExceptional communication and presentation skillsAbility to grasp and communicate technical detailsStrong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including PowerPoint and advanced knowledge of Excel
