This opportunity entails providing senior-level technical expertise to client on project aspects within the survey discipline. Assists with developing the scope of work and level of effort for projects and/or assignments within surveying discipline. Oversees completeness and accuracy of project team's work within the technical discipline. Guides and mentors team to overall project objectives. What You'll Do: Analyzes title work and record documents in conjunction with field survey data to establish property lines and existing rights of way. Produces of client or project right of way engineering parcels. Supervises production of client or project right of way engineering parcels and route survey plats. Conducts QA/QC of right of way engineering parcels and route survey plats. Responsible for the delivery of project discipline scope elements within budget and schedule. Assists with project management duties. Oversees completeness and accuracy of project team's work. Leads the work of project team to overall project objectives. Provides mentorship, guidance and training to earlier career survey staff. Performs other duties as assigned. What You'll Need: Associate Degree and 10 years of relevant experience, or In lieu of education, 12 years of relevant experience What We Prefer: ASPRS Certification with a focus in LiDAR. Indiana Professional Surveyor's license. Indiana State Drivers License in good standing. Excellent knowledge of Survey mapping, LiDAR systems and data, Location Route Survey Plat creation, Alignments and deed information. The ability to perform these tasks in MicroStation ,OpenRoads, TopoDOT and Trimble Business Center. The ability to lead team through survey projects from start to finish and adhere to processes. Produce quality work with attention to detail. Track project schedules and budgets. The want and ability to teach and mentor younger staff. Empathetic towards others and comfortable working in a team environment.
