Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The essential duties and responsibilities include the following but other duties may be assigned. Guides and counsels site leadership and business teams on accounting, finance, budgeting, asset management, management information, business forecasting, capital projects, and profit improvement opportunities. The Finance Director will be to support and partner with the General Manager and operational staff members of the site. The Director of Finance is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting for the site and providing leadership and direction of financial reporting. Managerial responsibilities include planning, organizing, budgeting, controlling, directing, and cost/benefit analysis. Leads monthly closing activity at the site and communicates results effectively to the site General Manager and the site leadership team. Responsibilities: Financial Planning and Reporting Forecasting of key metrics Directs accounting responsibilities and assures compliance with local and country specific requirements and interfaces with external auditors as needed. Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close Manage daily, monthly and quarterly banking requirements and compliance activities Manage Accounting and Administrative Staff Support budget and forecasting activities Develop more efficient procedures and use of resources Provide site leadership with site financial and statistical reports (CAPEX, cost effective analysis) Support team with special projects when necessary Maintain accurate and up to date receivables and payables schedules Maintain the Chart of Accounts Manages Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Monitor debt levels Record cash receipts and bank deposits; reconcile accounts Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth. Set performance goals, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback Ensure the finance team is equipped with the necessary skills and tools to support business objectives. Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for the stated position. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting. MBA or CPA preferred. Ideally 10+ years of relevant work experience in Finance or Controller in manufacturing facility. Experience on managing Financial Audits Strong knowledge of financial regulations, including GAAP/IFRS and SOX compliance. Proven track record in financial planning, analysis, cost accounting and strategic decision-making. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems; experience with SAP is a plus. High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical standards.
