Salary: $96,740 - $115,377Grade: 26The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a full-time Team Leader. The OnTrack NY Program is a Coordinated Specialty Care (CSC) treatment program at the Washington Heights Community Service, based at the NYS Psychiatric Institute/ Columbia Department of Psychiatry, a premier research, clinical, and academic center.OnTrack NY serves adolescents and young adults experiencing early psychosis. The Team Leader role is a full-time, on-site position leading a multidisciplinary, specialized early psychosis team that provides coordinated and assertive treatment to enrolled participants and their families. The OnTrack NY model offers hopeful, youth-friendly, recovery-oriented work; a supportive & collaborative team-based approach; low participant care load; training and technical assistance in the CSC model; and a learning community of experts and colleagues.Duties and Responsibilities:1.Fostering and modeling principles that underlie the model: recovery, shared decision making, person centered, cultural humility.2.Overseeing team functioning, including facilitating weekly team meetings, ensuring collaboration and communication among team members, training and supervising the team and being responsible for allocation of staff time.3.Establishing and participating in rotation for 24/7 on-call coverage4.Monitoring care load size, coordinating intakes and discharges, and conducting eligibility evaluations when needed.5.Serving as the Primary Clinician for a subset of program participants, which includes, conducting assessments and treatment planning; assessing risk and engaging in safety planning; providing individual therapy, care management and family services, providing services in the community as needed; and supporting participants in transitioning from the team to other services.6.Ensuring timely documentation of all services pleting required data reporting for program evaluation and fidelity assessment and utilizing data to support quality improvement8.Serving as the liaison between the team and the WHCS to ensure adherence to the CSC model and agency protocols and policies.9.Supervise the primary clinicians, outreach, and recruitment coordinator, supported education and employment specialists, peer specialist and administrative assistant. pleting other tasks as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:•Master's or Ph.D. degree in an appropriate field (social work, psychology, mental health counseling or similar) with active NY state clinical license.•At least 2 years supervisory experience in a mental health setting.
