Job Description: POSITION SUMMARY The Marketing Coordinator & Sales Admin Support serves as the company's primary coordinator and producer for the development and implementation of all phases of advertising and training media communications. 30% of this role also supplies critical administrative support to our Sales and Sales Engineers Team. These duties will enhance organizational integration of Marketing and enable deeper understanding of Alliance product lines. Admin responsibilities will be secondary to critical Marketing strategies and events. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Marketing Duties: Manages, controls, and assumes primary responsibility for all aspects of in-house and contracted media production, from concept to implementation, for trade journal ads, website, marketing and training videos, photography, graphics, illustrations, multimedia, brochures, PowerPoint presentations, newsletters, and trade exhibits. Develops strategic plans to optimize the effectiveness of communications media through budgeting and long-range planning with all levels of management in the company. Leads team efforts to previsualize and create message content to meet the company's strategic marketing plans. Identifies and implements communication methods that will have the most effective impact on the target audience. Organizes the resources to produce the in-house or contracted media by the most cost-effective approach to meet tight deadlines, changing priorities, and complex goals. Maintains standards of media production quality that will further enhance the image of the company while creating interesting and informative custom communications. Drafts, coordinates and edits all internal and external company communications. Becomes familiar with all company safety standards. Performs all commitments/tasks in a timely and professional manner. Performs other duties/responsibilities as required. Administrative Support to Sales and Sales Engineers Team (SET) Duties: Provide internal support to sales and/or service team. Assist with minor customer inquiries regarding pricing, availability, order status, etc. Serve as the liaison between sales/service team and other internal organizational departments; assist with customer documentation. Occasionally reviews sales/service orders and proposals for accuracy, documentation, and clearance. Maintain records in CRM and other documentation systems; ensure data integrity. Assist in generating and preparing reports. Occasionally assist in reviews, and drafting invoices, standard proposals, work orders, and other documentation. Gathers documentation and maintains job order file. Assist with standard SET work procedures. Education BS/BA degree with a major in business, media communications or media production Experience and Skills Minimum five years of experience in corporate/industrial communications media production, including at least three years of media project management experience Good communication skills, demonstrating excellent verbal and writing skills in order to perform as a management team member Demonstrated video production skills, including pre-production planning and scriptwriting; production as a director, producer and technical roles (lighting, sound, etc.); post-production video editing; digital non-liner editing; and audio editing Desktop publishing experience including demonstrated creative skills and software knowledge in print layout, illustrations in 2-D and 3-D, graphic production for digital output to video Proven multimedia production skills Physical Requirements To successfully perform the essential functions of this job, an individual must be willing and able to Travel occasionally Sit at a desk or computer for extended periods of time Move about the office and factory with occasional lifting, bending and reaching Dial, hear and respond to telephone calls and inquiries Communicate effectively (visually and verbally) with internal and external contacts Meet requirements of daily attendance on job for a full, continuous work schedule Compensation: $60,000 - 75,000 salary (DOE) Benefits: Alliance offers a competitive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, 401K with employer match, PTO, paid holidays and a bonus program.
