Job description Senior Mechanical Engineer We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer with 6+ years of experience to manage all aspects of project execution, from system designs and specifications to production and field observations. You will be working on a variety of projects, including commercial, residential, industrial, healthcare, and educational. This role also involves mentoring junior engineers and engaging with professional organizations to expand your expertise and network. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the design, specification, and production processes for mechanical systems in a range of project types including commercial, residential, industrial, healthcare, and educational. Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring that all aspects are completed on schedule and meet the necessary technical standards. Conduct field observations and provide guidance during the installation and commissioning phases to ensure systems are built and operate as designed. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders, to integrate mechanical designs into overall project plans. Lead the creation of detailed mechanical drawings using AutoCAD and Revit MEP software. Review designs for quality assurance and make necessary adjustments to improve performance, efficiency, and sustainability. Stay current with industry standards, building codes, and technologies to ensure that all designs meet regulatory and client requirements. Mentor and support junior mechanical engineers, providing guidance and sharing technical knowledge. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and lead a team.
